Sarah Haughey is a native of Colorado and she knows a thing or two about Colorado beer. She opened Jailhouse Craft Beer Bar in July of 2016 where she hosts some of the best beers Colorado has to offer.

In an interview with the Denver Post, Sarah Haughey looks back on some her favorites this year in the world of Colorado beer.  She also gives us some tips on what trends to look for in 2017.

As for trends to look  for in 2017, Sarah Haughey says keep an eye on Black Project‘s experimental brews. She goes on to say the continuing buyouts within the industry, and the tinkering or “Americanization” of old and forgotten styles of beer will continue to grow in 2017.

Jailhouse Craft Beer Bar opened in July of 2016 in Buena Vista, Colorado. It sounds like a place every beer lover should add to their “ultimate beer road trip” list.

“The Jailhouse is a quaint neighborhood watering hole located in the historic town jail house in Buena Vista, Colorado. Specializing in craft beer, The Jailhouse offers 10 taps with a rotating selection of beers from throughout Colorado, the United States, and abroad. The Jailhouse also features a curated selection of craft cans and bottles plus a limited wine list.” – via the Jailhouse website.
